| He handles his first guitar, a gift from
his family, when he is four. He
learns as autodidact listening from the radio
and different records to songs by Beatles, Grund Funk Railroad, Jefferson
Airplane, Genesis, Bob Dylan, etc.
In 1976 he founds the Impro group, being inspired by progressive groups of that time (PFM, Yes, Banco, etc.). He composes several songs and with one in particular, in 1985, the group wins a musical concourse for new voices in Abano Terme (PD). In this occasion he receives the award for the "Best Instrumentalist of the Exhibition". In 1987 he changes course and takes part of the Bella Blues Band as bass player. In the same year he comes back to guitar joining the Waldorf Astoria, an American and English rock group ( Rolling Stones, Who, Beatles, Free, etc.). During the following year he starts the collaboration with the chorus Summertime, and he ends it with the Cd "Save the World" in 1995. In the same year he founds with his wife Marta Facco a trio which proposes covers in an acoustic format. Together with some friends he founds in 1992 the Great Mama, rediscovering some classics of R&B and Soul. In parallel he collaborates as bass player with the Bertolin Blues Band and the Blue Shoes, both the groups being dedicated to the Blues. At the moment he plays with Infeltrio - cover & cabaret - and the classic guitar with TeaTRIO (Stefano Santangelo mandolin & Marta Facco lead voice), Jazz Swing music . (Traduzione Ines Campo) |
